Announcing the ConGlomeration Artist Guest of Honor Christine Mitzuk

Christine Mitzuk's Woman of PowerConGlomeration is excited to announce that Christine Mitzuk will be our 2017 Artist Guest of Honor.

Christine works as a freelance artist, and her clients include Fantasy Flight Games, Llewellyn Publishing, BAEN, Great Northern Audio Publishing, Petersen Games, D56, and Lightspeed Magazine.

Art has been a part Christine’s life for many years in one form or another. For over seven years she worked in graphic design, creating art in her spare time. Craving to know how to make all the imagined creatures and places in her head look real, she quit her job to pursue the full-time program at The Atelier. She completed five years of study in May 2011 with a focus on imaginative art. Christine also holds a BA in Design Communication with a minor in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota.

Christine MitzukToday, Christine’s graphic design and art skills blend well together in sci-fi and fantasy work. She considers the overall design, aesthetic presence, and core story being told. She also teaches art classes at The Atelier Studio Program of Fine Art in Minneapolis (Gesture, Color Theory, Illustration, Portrait, and Costumed Figure Drawing & Painting), as well as The Art Academy in St. Paul.

She feeds her imagination through continued study of the figure, nature, and anything that catches her interest. When she is able, she likes to get out and practice archery or ride her Wonder Woman bicycle.

One of her favorite things to do is talk shop so if you have questions about anything art related, feel free to ask. Pizza or donuts are also excellent topics. If you see her walking around with a guy in a kilt who is sipping tea, that’s most likely her wonderful husband, James.

You can learn more about Christine on her Facebook Page, her Tumblr, her Instagram, or at her website,
