Let the songs be sung from here to Sto’Vo’Kor: J.G. “General Martok” Hertzler will be the ConGlomeration 2017 Media Guest of Honor!
Yes, the Chancellor of the Klingon High Council, veteran of the Dominion War, hero of the Battle of Deep Space Nine, Klingon General Martok will appear live and in person at ConGlomeration 2017. It will be glorious!
Fear not if you do not recognize the General amongst our favored membership, for he shall likely appear in his human guise as John Garman “J.G.” Hertzler. This native of Savannah, Georgia and longtime resident of upstate New York has more than 25 years of movie, television, and video game acting credits to his name.

You may well recall John from his appearances on Quantum Leap, Highlander, Zorro, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Pirates of Silicon Valley, Charmed, The Golden Compass, or even Seinfeld.
Besides his legendary portrayal of Chancellor Martok, John has also appeared in numerous roles across the Star Trek franchise. He was a Hirogen warrior on the Voyager episode “Tsunkatse” — where he wrestled with both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Seven of Nine actress Jeri Ryan. He was also the Klingon Advocate Kolos on Enterprise, the Vulcan captain of the USS Saratoga in the Deep Space Nine pilot, Admiral Samuel Travis in the (hopefully someday completed) fan-film Star Trek: Axanar, and voiced numerous Klingons in various Star Trek video games.
On the subject of video games, John was the voice of Dr. Grossman in BioShock and BioShock II, and Captain Benjamin Mathius of the USG Ishimura in Dead Space. See, he can be creepy and scary.
When not ruling the Klingon Empire, John serves on the town council of Ulysses, NY and works as an environmental activist. You can learn more about John on his Wikipedia entry, IMDb listing, or his Memory Alpha file (no conventional social media or website dares contain him).
