The Alley Theater to perform “Cliffnotes of Insanity: ‘The Princess Bride’ in 30 Minutes or Less” at ConGlomeration 2014…twice
Louisville’s own Alley Theater will bring their beloved and bewitching abbreviation of a cinema classic to ConGlomeration 2014 with not one but two performances of “Cliffnotes of Insanity: ‘The Princess Bride’ in 30 Minutes or Less“.
The Alley’s troupe will take the stage Saturday, April 12 from 3-4 pm and will return at 10am on Sunday, April 13 for an encore. There is no additional fee to view either performance; it’s included in your ConGlomeration membership. Be forewarned, however, The Alley is known for high levels of audience participation, so don’t go see a show you aren’t ready to be a part of!
For those unfamiliar with The Alley Theater, their mission is to produce progressive theater and to provide an affordable venue for both traditional and experimental artists. Founded in 1993, The Alley truly believes that theater can and should be an enjoyable experience that is accessible to all ages, backgrounds, and interests. From the classics to pop-culture parody, audience participation to more traditional “sit back and watch” shows, you’ll find it all here. Their main goal is that you’ll have as much fun in the audience as we have on the stage.
Oh, and if you’ve never been to The Alley’s Prince Bride Experience, you’re missing out. See you at the show.
